What Kind of Year Was 2024 for Fan Service?
A lot of fans are nervous that the popularity of anime coupled with the rise of anime funding coming from international streaming companies will make studios less willing to put sexy fan service in their works. But judging from 2024, I’d say that we don’t have much cause to worry. Heck, even Sony puts sexy visual scenes in their anime for us.
And we sure got a lot of sexy anime moments this year, with several fan service-heavy offerings to pick from each season. We delved into the world of fetishes with magical girls, were hit with the desire to become sexual slaves or reincarnated shota boys, and found out what it would be like to have a harem of cosplaying otaku girls in our school club.

The Dangers In My Heart Gave Us Emotional Highs with a Side of Eye Candy
I positively loved The Dangers In My Heart, and did my best to evangelize it to J-List customers. It’s all just silly wish-fulfillment about the tall, beautiful and famous girl from class inexplicably being in love with MC-kun, but I couldn’t get enough of it. There were also some fun fan service moments to enjoy.
Seventh Prince Made Us Want to Be Reincarnated as a Magical Shota
What would you like to be reincarnated as? A slime? A great mage? The relaxing I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability made me want to be reborn as a shota with S-rank magical abilities. Read my blog post about the series here!
Blue Archive Gave Us All a Foot Fetish
We love the Blue Archive game and anime series, and stock all the English-subtitled Blu-rays, kawaii figures, and naughty doujinshi you could ask for. It was fun watching the reaction to this scene when it first aired!
Anime Fans Rejoiced at the Return of Holo the Wise Naked Wolf

I thoroughly enjoyed the second season of Mushoku Tensei, which showed us the ongoing life of Rudy as he grew into the adult he was destined to become. It was so wholesome, getting to see his relationships with several characters come to fruition!
Konosuba Season 3 Gave Us Fun Ecchi Anime Moments

Plus-Sized Elf Was The Ecchi Anime Of 2024
If you like thicc elves, then Plus-Sized Elf was one you needed to watch. Every episode was pure ecchi gold!
Alya Sometimes Trolls Us with Sexy Fan Service
Another hugely popular anime was Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san, about a half-Russian, half-Japanese girl who sometimes reveals her true feelings in Russian…not realizing that her crush understands that language. It was so good, even the English dub was good!
2.5-jigen no Ririsa Was the Ultimate Cosplay Harem
Anime excels at crafting outlandish scenarios that the protagonist often finds himself in — situations that, as (typically male) viewers, we can’t help self-inserting into mentally. One of these was 2.5D no Ririsa, which was loads of fun. Read my blog post on the show here!

Looking for a show to replace Quintessential Quintuplets? You can’t find a better one than Tying The Knot With An Amagami Sister. If the show feels a lot like Quintessential Quintuplets, it’s because the writer worked as an assistant on that show.
DandaDan Was Strange and Wonderful and Ecchi
