One character trait that shows up often in anime is female characters with A-cup angst, with a complex about their small boobs. Let’s explore why flat-chested anime girls are so much fun in this post!

The concept of moe is all about the cute imperfections some girls possess, which makes them charming to fans. Some of these imperfections might include:
- Dojikko (clumsy).
- Chibi (being extremely short).
- Bad eyesight, requiring glasses.
- Internal self-doubt, which they cover by developing a tsundere personality.
- Being “KY,” which is a social awkwardness that makes them bad at reading social situations. Like the time Ojou wanted to join in on a conversation and talked about how the genitalia of all women are always pink because there’s no melanin inside there.
- A haughty rich girl’s “O-hohohoho” laugh.
- Possessing some kind of cute personality tic, such as speaking Osaka dialect, adding na no da to every sentence, or using the third person for herself.
Another common element of a good moe character is having a flat chest and being super anxious about it. Whether they’re fretting about how their small breasts compare to their more well-endowed friends, or they’re positive their crush won’t choose them because of their petit body, these characters are always a favourite with anime fans.

Flat-chested anime girls are always entertaining because being concerned about their chest size is just so kawaii. These characters are even better when paired with big booba characters, which makes for hilarious comedy situations. Especially when both girls are fighting for the same guy romantically.
