At J-List, we try to be much more than an anime shop: we consider ourselves a mirror that reflects the entirety of Japan, from wacky Japanese snacks to lickable anime figures to ways to enjoy your favorite anime snacks in real life. We also carry lots of great cosplay items, from those wonderful shimapan striped panties to the new “spats,” tight bicycle shorts seen in many anime series recently. We like to stock seasonal cosplay items, too, and recently got the summer’s stock of jinbei, which are short summer kimonos that are great for wearing when it’s hot out, using them either as pajamas while sleeping, or wear them outdoors to a summer festival.
