The 2026 Kantoku Calendars Will Come In on December 17
Every year for the past 29 years, J-List gets super busy around October, posting amazing Japanese anime, traditional art and photo, and sexy JAV calendars to the site. They’re super popular, and our customers love having fun and unique calendars on their walls all year long as a way of connecting with Japan. “Anime artist” calendars are separate from the mainstream anime calendars we stock — they’re made by a different company with a different distribution schedule — and our customers love those, too.
Every year, the Kantoku calendar [link] is extremely popular, as fans of the legendary artist order the next year’s offering. The calendar (and all other calendars listed in this post) is a large B2 size (50 x 71 cm or 20 x 28 inch), shipped in a mailing tube for protection. You get 13 pages, meaning a cover and a new full illustration for each month, which is great.

While we don’t know what internal images the calendar will contain (they’re not in stock yet), we can say they will be gorgeous, with lots of sexy images of Kantoku’s characters Shizuku, Ichika, and Kurumi.

Another artist we love is Coffee Kizoku, who takes his name from a chain of high-end coffee shops in Japan. He’s had an amazing career, making lovely art of his trademark characters, and his 2026 anime calendar [link] belongs on your wall.

Coffee Kizoku has had an amazing career, beginning as a “graphicker” (as artists for eroge are known in Japanese) for titles like Eve Burst Error. He struck out on his own starting in 2013, creating professional artbooks and doing illustrations for light novels. He’s famously a fan of “buruma,” those sexy spandex P.E. uniforms.
You Will Love the 2026 Takuya Fujima Anime Calendar!
Finally, we have another stalwart of the anime illustrator world, Takuya Fujima, who has had a long career as a professional artist, working on manga and full-color illustrations. You can order his 2026 anime calendar here.

Takuya Fujima is great at creating beautiful female characters who overflow with lots of detail. He’s worked on many famous titles, including R-15, DOG DAYS, Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha ViVid, and Black Bullet. Just think how great it will be, spending 2026 with his beautiful characters!
