Am I the only one who thinks that demon lords in anime aren’t all that bad? I’ve watched almost 300 isekais and have not seen any genuinely evil demon lords. In fact, most of them don’t seem any worse than humans. Some demon lords are even outright adorable. And of the totally kawaii ones, few come close to Milim Nava from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. And the Phat Company Milim Nava 1/7 Figure highlights all of Milim’s charms.
The Milim Nava 1/7 Figure — A Demon Lord Statue Worth Revering
If Milim ever got her own spin-off, its title would be My Demon Lord Can’t Be This Cute. That’s how adorable she is. Saitou Mitsuru perfectly captured that endearing quality when sculpting this figure. Giving a figure a capricious vibe is challenging, yet Saitou did it as effortlessly as one would eat a family-size pack of Oreos.
The figure features a playful Milim lounging on either a Rimuru-shaped beanbag or an actual Rimuru. Which of those is actually what? That’s for you to decide. One thing I absolutely love about this figure is its pose. Body language used proficiently does more for a scene than anything else. And much like Hans in Inglourious Basterds, showing he’s top dog by the way he carries himself, Milim does the same here. Her kawaii tongue-out expression and outstretched legs create a seemingly adorable appearance. But in reality, it’s the anime equivalent of that one rabbit in Monty Python and The Holy Grail. It might look fluffy, but you’ll be looking at your beheaded body if you slighted her.
Retailing for $195, the Phat Company Milim Nava 1/7 Figure lounges are 4.3″ (11 cm) tall. She’s in stock and looking for a friend, so why don’t you pick her up here and start 2025 with a demon lord by your side? Trust me. It brings the best of luck to welcome one into your life. Don’t believe me? Ask anyone working for Rimuru.
What’s That Time I Reincarnated as a Slime About?
When a blitzkrieg stabbing sends Satoru Mikami to the afterlife, it’s not what he expected. The former salaryman doesn’t meet a warm welcome into the great beyond. Instead, he’s reincarnated as a slime. But making the most of his newfound life, Satoru is content with vibing and living a relatively tame existence. But meeting and freeing the catastrophe-level monster, Veldora, completely upends that tame existence. Grateful for Satoru’s kindness, the Storm Dragon names him Rimuru, drastically changing the course of his new life. Unknown to Rimuru at the time, this moment sets him on the path to becoming one of the most feared and respected demon lords of his new world.
That Time I Reincarnated As Slime boasts several TV anime seasons, specials, mobile games, OVAs, and movies in its catalog. The show adapts Fuse’s (art by Taiki Kawakami) story of the same name. All seasons, OVAs, and movies in the That Time I Reincarnated As Slime franchise are streaming on Crunchyroll.
