A masterclass in figure sculpting, the Shinobu TRICK OR TREAT Figure embodies excellence. Boldly displaying everything that makes Monogatari’s vampire so loved, this figure defines the phrase “collector’s piece.”
This figure features Shinobu in a ragged and torn outfit. The vampire loli smugly kneels on top of two jack-o’-lanterns shaped like Yotsugi and Arararararararararargi (tee-hee, I flubbed it). The figure’s base is a further nod to Shinobu, a big strawberry cream doughnut. And Shinobu’s love for doughnuts is so blatant in this figure that it’s diabetes-inducing. Even Shinobu’s sword, Kokorowatari, was reduced to a doughnut stack.
The Shinobu TRICK OR TREAT figure may seem overly sweet, but it has a spooky charm. If you ignore the doughnuts and focus on the figure’s lit candles and succubi wings, it looks a tad more sinister. Her bandages add a sense of mysticism; is she cosplaying a mummy, or is she embracing that wretched chuunibyou?
The Shinobu TRICK OR TREAT Figure’s Smug Aura Mocks Me
If a girl gave me the same look Shinobu sports in this figure, I’d be worried about my chastity. That’s the look of a girl who’ll give you the D…oughnut. How she positions her hair, bow, and little succubi wings enhances that overall “I’mma eat you” smugness.
