How Did Kanna Seto Become One of Japan’s Top AV Actresses?
Kanna Seto (瀬戸環奈) was born on May 10, 2004, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Before entering the entertainment world, she was just a regular student, playing volleyball in middle school, and working multiple part time jobs while in high school.
The turning point for her came when she turned 20. The beautiful, stylish women around her kept complimenting her body and telling her she should try modeling. Their encouragement stuck with her. “If people like that are saying it, then maybe I should go for it,” she thought… and the rest is history. She made her gravure debut in October 2024, appearing in the pages of the prestigious weekly magazine Weekly Post.
Then, on December 24, 2024, she dropped a bombshell: she announced on social media that she would be making her AV debut on the S1 label. Her follower count exploded almost overnight, jumping from 58,000 to 96,000 in a matter of hours and briefly trending on X. (Find her X account here.) Her debut AV title hit shelves on January 28, 2025, and it was an instant smash hit, reaching number one on FANZA for three consecutive weeks. She also topped FANZA’s monthly actress rankings for three months running. J-List fans took note, too, and made her awesome performances on DVD and Blu-ray top sellers in short order.
Kanna Seto lost her virginity with her boyfriend while in junior high school. Before entering the JAV world, she’d only had sex with four men, making her a rarity in the industry.
