Ever wondered what it would be like to transfer to an all-girls school? Or even what might happen if you joined a club at that school? A club that happened to be full of incredibly perverted classmates? Wonder no longer, because Prince of the Female Otaku Club by MGMEE is here to make your dreams a reality.
Prince of the Female Otaku Club isn’t an anthology of separate horny adventures like your usual hentai manga volume. Instead, it tells the story of one lonely otaku boy named Yamada Hajime. He’s been suffering at a sports club school for too long, being forced to get a buzz-cut and sit on the bench for his baseball team for far too long. When his dad manages to transfer him into a new school owned by his friend, Yamada is over the moon. He immediately asks around to figure out where the manga club is located. Weirdly enough, he finds out that there isn’t a manga club in his new school, just something called “The Technology Club.” Even weirder, every student he ran into so far has been a girl.
As he walks into the Technology Club room, though, he’s greeted by 4 more girls, and they’re some of the strangest ones he’s met yet. One girl is topless, another is embracing her, the third is drawing the two of them furiously, and the last girl is playing fighting games in the corner of the room. They eagerly welcome Yamada into the room, but when they spot his confusion, they decide to break the news to him; this is an all-girls school that plans to go co-ed next year, so they’ve admitted a single boy into the school as a test run. Yamada is that boy. Before he can even begin to process this information, the tanned kogal playing fighting games in the corner challenges Yamada.
He thinks he’s got her number, but she ends up decimating him. As punishment, she takes Yamada to her local arcade to help her clean it up. When Yamada struggles to find the words to talk to a girl, he relies on his otaku knowledge to spout some cheesy visual-novel flirtations that strike a chord with the gamer girl. Alone in the arcade, Yamada and his new clubmate act on their impulses and engage in a bevy of raunchy activities, leading to Yamada’s new life as the harem king of the Technology Club.
Despite telling just a single story, there’s a great amount of variety to Prince of the Female Otaku Club thanks to the fun and diverse cast of girls in the manga. There’s Natsuki, the dark-skinned fighting game goddess from the first chapter who I absolutely loved. Then there’s Yukishiro Sae, a flirtatious girl with glasses who’s also a budding yaoi manga author. There’s also club president Tsuzuki Aika, a ninja-obsessed third year with a thick body and an adorable face. And then there’s Amamiya Risa, the cross-dressing cosplay prince of the school. Even their club advisor Kokoro is a tall, curvy and perverted beauty who’s also secretly a famous hentai manga author. There’s a girl for everyone in this manga, and the varied crew of girls helps keep the story and action from ever getting stale.
It also helps that the art by MGMEE in Prince of the Female Otaku Club is absolutely gorgeous. Character designs are varied in not just hair-style and outfits, but even their proportions, faces, and overall shapes. No matter how they look, though, each girl is drawn with a soft and petite style that effortlessly illustrates their feminine charm. When things get hot and heavy, the way characters embrace each other is realistically passionate and incredibly erotic thanks to the sharp illustrations and varied positions. There’s wonderful detail put into every inch of the body in this book, making the uncensored artwork an absolute blessing that helps you appreciate the incredible visuals of this book even more.
It’s a shame that there aren’t many extras or full-color pages in this book. There are only a couple of colored illustrations at the beginning of the volume, but they’re still certainly a treat. The color of the skin of each character is blended beautifully with rich shadows and bouncing lights, and the soft texture detail put into things like their hair and clothes pops really well. I only wish there were more colored pages in the volume or some other kind of extras like behind the scenes info or short bonus stories. I came to love the characters in the book a lot, so it was a little disappointing that the journey came to an end so quickly since there are only 7 chapters in Prince of the Female Otaku Club.
One of my favorite chapters in the volume is Triangle Feud. At this point, Yamada is well acquainted with the bodies of everyone in the Technology Club. Even their club advisor Kokoro has revealed her sex-obsessed ways to him, and the chapter starts with the two of them engaging in some naughty after-class extracurriculars after Yamada teases her in the middle of class with a remote-controlled toy. Once Yamada finishes fooling around with her, he returns to the clubroom only to discover that Sae caught them in the act together. She’s only interested in what’s between Yamada’s thighs, so she isn’t too jealous, but kogal Natsuki has much deeper feelings for our protagonist, and she’s arriving at the clubroom any second. As soon as she arrives and catches Yamada and Sae together, Sae decides to slyly turn the situation around in everyone’s favor and by coaxing Natsuki into having a competition to see who can make Yamada feel better.
This chapter is packed, and everything that happens in it is incredibly hot. Starting off with a few pages of action with the homeroom teacher Kokoro was a treat, for sure. Once Sae and Natsuki entered the picture, though, I was in heaven. Their competition to out-do each other quickly turns into the two of them pleasing Yamada at the same time. Eventually, the facade of a sex competition has disappeared, and the three of them engage in steamy threesome action until the end of the chapter. There are only a handful of chapters in Prince of the Female Otaku Club where group action like this occurs, but this one was absolutely my favorite of the bunch.
Prince of the Female Otaku Club is an absolutely fun and sexy book worth everyone’s time. While the story isn’t exactly the deepest or most intricate adventure, it has some of the most fun and adorable characters I’ve seen in a hentai volume. Better yet, the art is incredibly sexy from beginning to end, and with a great variety of girls to read about, there’s sure to be something for everyone in this book.
