Previously, we reviewed the raunchy compilation of futanari stories called Futabu! Mix, from the artist Bosshi. It’s a raunchy anthology full of wild, kinky scenarios. You’d think that sort of stuff is Bosshi’s natural habitat or the only thing he draws. As Peachy-Butt Girls proves, though, Bosshi can make an incredible anthology of hentai stories featuring the most normal and mundane of scenarios.
Bosshi’s art always shines brightest when it’s in color, which makes the hefty amount of coloring pages in this anthology such a welcome addition. On top of a set of gorgeous illustrations at the beginning of the book rendered in vivid color, the first 43 pages of the book contain four different stories all lovingly drawn and completely colored. The shading of every character is blended and toned perfectly, adding an incredible sense of depth to the already gorgeous ladies of these pages. The tiny details of shine bouncing off breasts and the slight translucency of swimsuits make these full-color stories the absolute highlights of the book.
Among these highlights, a personal favorite Peachy-Butt Girls story of mine is Splash Flash Busters. This story is all about a girls swimming class at a Japanese high school, and the lone male student who stealthily peeps on their fun by hiding in a secure underwater spot and utilizing a water-proof camera. He spends the day taking photos of plenty of gorgeous girls, but when he comes up for air, he’s cornered by three sluttiest girls in the class. And this isn’t the first time they’ve caught him red-handed. It also isn’t the first time they’ve had their way with his body as punishment, leading to a steamy set of pages where each girl teams up or takes turns fucking him senseless.
It’s a simple story, and an incredibly quick one to boot. It’s only eight pages long, after all. Yet, each of those eight pages gives you a Greatest Hits compilation of what to expect from the rest of this steamy volume. The three different girls each have totally different personalities and body types. There are the fun and playful yet incredibly perverted Yuuko with a massive pair of breasts. Then, there’s the small and petite Chie with explosive energy and a dominant attitude. And then there’s Ami, the leader of the group with an hourglass figure and an incredibly high sex drive. Every girl gets their turn in the spotlight, and by the end of the story, you’re left ready for more and wishing it never ended.
Even without color, though, the artwork of Bosshi in Peachy-Butt Girls is a slam-dunk. I really appreciated the variety of character designs in each story, especially. Even though the faces of some girls could look a bit too similar to each other, every other aspect of their appearance and personality was always varied and unique. Whether it’s a slender girl with big breasts or a petite girl with a flat chest, Bosshi draws them masterfully. The anatomy of each character is beautifully illustrated, with an incredible sense of softness and sexiness that I couldn’t get enough of. There’s also an impressive variety of poses and actions going on in each chapter, ensuring things never get too stale.
While there are lots of wild scenarios and extreme characters in Peachy-Butt Girls, one of my favorite black & white stories in the volume is perhaps the simplest one. Sayaka Sunday is about a young man with a high sex drive named Takuya and his older girlfriend who lives above him, Sayaka. She craves sex just as much as him, leading to the two doing it like rabbits all the time. Besides having beautiful silky hair and a sexy body, Sayaka is also incredibly clumsy. The story makes a point of showing just how thoroughly air-headed she is, forgetting to put on clothes when she picks up a package and thinking she needs a stamp to sign for it.
I figured this would lead to some shenanigans involving her clumsiness, but it actually doesn’t. After her package arrives, which is a new movie she ordered online, the two watch it together on their couch. Quickly, though, their movie night turns into another session of steamy sex, ruining their romantic plans to change things up. The story never really goes anywhere, but that’s why I love it so much. There isn’t some shocking ending or big epilogue, it’s just a small window into the everyday life of a happy couple. Plus, the somewhat shy and submissive nature of Sayaka blends nicely with the much more confident and dominant style of Takuya. Wild stories can be really fun, but sometimes the simple things are what work the best.
Obviously, though, the weird and out of left-field stories are plenty of fun too. One such story in Peachy-Butt Girls is titled Hot Milky Soup. In this, a young and beautiful girl named Midori takes her boyfriend to a traditional inn called Kairaku Inn, up in the mountains. Things aren’t so great between the two of them, though. Despite being together for 3 years, Midori hasn’t let Heita do anything sexual with her whatsoever, leading to their relationship being on the brink of ending. When the two try to discuss it after Heita hits on their beautiful hostess, Heita quickly gets heated and decides to leave Midori alone while he goes for a bath in the hot springs. When he arrives there, he finds the baths to be totally empty except for one person, the same bombshell of a hostess from earlier. She tempts Heita into spending some personal time with her, and the two begin to fool around as the steam surrounding them thickens. What Heita can’t see, though, is that the hostess is actually there with his girlfriend Midori. She gives Heita a blowjob at first to show Midori how it works, before letting her take over and continue pleasuring Heita as the steam hides her identity.
Of course, eventually, Heita realizes it’s Midori there and thinks that the hostess was just his imagination. As the two rekindle their relationship and embrace their sexuality for the first time, we get an incredibly happy ending brought about by some strange circumstances. The hostess is undeniably sexy, and I’m glad we got to see her get in on the action a bit without this being a story of betrayal or true cheating. It’s a silly premise, for sure, but it leads to one of the best stories in the entire volume.
Peachy-Butt Girls is a great collection of sweet and silly stories that serve as an unexpected delight from the usually perverse and wild mind of Bosshi. Quality art and gorgeous colors collide with simple, sincere stories that make this a volume anyone is sure to enjoy.
