The new issue of Newtype is in stock, and as usual, it’s filled with tons of amazing posters, gorgeous visuals and information on all the new anime series. Let’s look at all the content in this blog post!

What’s Inside the Newtype November 2023 Issue?
First up, you get lovely new posters! This issue has two dual-sided posters featuring Uma-Musume Pretty Derby, the Witch from Mercury, Sousou no Frieren and Paradox the Live THE ANIMATION.
The cover of this issue features Sousou no Frieren (which I gush about in this blog post), and we get a huge 14-page feature on the anime, including story background, character introduction and interviews with the voice actors.
Next up is another big anime, Uma-Musume Pretty Derby, the anime that brings real racehorses from Japan’s horse racing world into anime form (“and please don’t lewd our horse girls!” plead the owners of the racehorses). Following this is info on Overtake, Ball Buster, the Rurou ni Kenshin remake, plus the upcoming Dungeon Meshi (!!).
Following this we get more info on new anime shows, including Spy x Family, which everyone should be watching, plus a dozen other segments on anime, anime studios and creators you should be watching.
Finally, because this issue comes out in October, we get a fun Happy Halloween illustration. How awesome is that?
