The Story of Vinland Saga
The “New Moving Pictures Magazine” published by Kadokawa Shoten came out in 1985 and was immediately on a mission to defeat its arch-rival anime magazine, Animage. It did that by having larger pages, pages so large J-List has to buy a special commercial-grade scanner to show you the pages, and tons of color, which fans love.
This issue of Newtpe has lots of great stuff for you, including
- Four full-sized A2 posters, including Spy Classroom, The Misfit Of Demon King Academy II, a new project for SSSS.Dynazeon and Five Star Stories.
- A cool “sticker calendar” with art from Five Star Stories. I guess the idea is you can attack each month’s sticker somewhere, on your laptop or phone, and replace it as each month cycles by. The calendar tracks the Japanese school year, which is why it goes from April 2023 to March 2024.
- Great visuals and info on The Angel Net Door Spoils Me Rotten are also in the new issue of Newtype.
- Series info for Sugar Apple Fairytail and Spy Classroom and Kage no Jitsuryokusha.
