What Makes an Onahole Great?
If you’ve used a few onaholes, you might have developed an internal list of what makes a given ero toy especially good for you. Perhaps you appreciate the extreme realism of the Sujiman Kupa series from Magic Eyes. Or you like the official hentai products that Tamatoys specializes in, finally making 2D anime girls real for us. Some questions to ask before making an onahole purchase are:
- How detailed is the external and internal design? Companies like Maccos Japan and Notawa excel at creating ridiculously detailed unique internal constructions for us.
- Is it realistic? It’s great when an onahole accurately represents the feel of a real woman, something that Magic Eyes excels in. But why stop there? Onaholes can give us amazing experiences that are better than nature like the Yandere Onahole, which has octopus tentacles waiting inside for you.
- How firm is it? Will it over-stimulate? In general, we suggest newer customers start out with softer onaholes and graduate towards “hard” ero toys (made of firmer materials) as they get more experience with what kind of solo sex they prefer.
- Finally, what is the size like? Many new buyers pick the cheapest onaholes and then complain they’re too small. A better approach is to choose one that’s around $20-30, perhaps picking up a few from different manufacturers so you can discover which are best for you. While hefty onaholes can be great, there’s something to be said for an onahole you can use every day that’s around 400g. Because “wanker’s elbow” is a thing that exists in the world.

The latest offering from Notowa is the Kime Puni Aphrodite. Kime describes a decisive and striking pose, puni is an onomatopoeia for something soft and squishy, and Aphrodite is the goddess of love. And you get all three in this amazing onahole!
Right off the bat, the onahole draws us in with its high-quality exterior design. There’s just the right amount of flesh on this goddess, and it will feel amazing when you’re balls deep inside her. The interior is one of the best I can remember, extremely rough and chaotic, described as a “field of tiny bumps” on the package. The sensation changes the deeper you go, though, and when you reach the back there’s a great space representing her uterus to shoot your load into.
Just look at all this detail, showing the different kinds of bumps and ridges that await, the deeper you get into. The Japanese think a lot about what makes the perfect vaginal space, and have since the Edo Period when they invented terms like “herring roe roof” and “one thousand writhing worms.” Today the word meiki is used for high-end onaholes which the manufacturer is especially proud of, but the term goes back to the 18th century. It describes a vagina that “only one in 1,000 women might possess.”
