Zenshu is an original anime series by studio MAPPA. A talented animator is up against her biggest hurdle: her new anime movie has romantic themes, and she has no experience with love. We’ll see how she does at some point in time. MAPPA has yet to give a premiere date. However, we do have a new trailer to enjoy.
Mitsue Yamazaki and Kimiko Ueno created Zenshu for the studio MAPPA. Yukari Hashimoto is scoring the music for this series.
Our talented and shy animator and some of her creations are as follows.
- Natsuko Hirose — Anna Nagase (Boxers, Isabella in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners). A talented animator who has already released a few popular series. She refuses to cut her hair until she finishes her latest project.
- Luke Braveheart — Kazuki Ura (Barbold from Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear). The hero of A Vanishing Tale. He is a brave swordsman who fights against the forces of evil.
- Memmeln — Minori Suzuki (Liko from Pokémon Horizons: The Series). A talented elf archer who joined Luke’s party to fight evil.
- Unio — Rie Kugimiya (Haumea in Fire Force). A tiny, cute unicorn who acts as Luke’s guardian beast.
MAPPA has maintained a home page and a Twitter (X) page to promote Zenshu. You can find additional series information and the Key Visuals there.
Zenshu and Writer’s Block
Natsuko Hirose entered the anime industry after graduating from college. Her first anime series was a big hit, which made her a rising star. Natsuko’s talent flourished as she sat in the director’s seat. The fans hailed her as the next genius director to follow. Things went well for Natsuko as she went from hit to hit. Natsuko’s project is an anime movie with romantic themes. This isn’t her best genre to write.
Luke Braveheart is the hero of A Vanishing Tale. Battle and tragedy marred his life. Though he lost his family, Luke is always willing to take up his sacred blade to strike down evil. He leads a group of heroes to face down those threatening his home. Luke is no stranger to love, and there is someone he cares for with all of his heart. That someone is Natsuko, who is writing his epic tale, but she has no experience with love.
