Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha (Dreaming Boys are Realists) is another cute slice-of-life rom-com series. The leads — a boy and a girl — have mutual feelings but appear to lack communication skills. Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ will bring these two together on July 3rd, 2023. We can see their misunderstandings mount in the trailer below.
A home page has been set up to promote Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha, in addition to an official Twitter page. Behind-the-scenes information, and extras, such as the key visuals, might interest fans or potential viewers. The draw of the series will obviously be the tsundere girl, which is why she is front and center in the key visuals.
Re-Evaluating Life Choices After a Soccer Ball Miss
Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha follows Wataru Sajo (Naoya Miyase) as he pursues a school idol Aika Natsukawa (Akiho Suzumoto). He had been actively and happily pursuing her since middle school and dreamed of dating her. Aika, a tsundere, always brushes him off with a noticeable blush. Even her friends would call her out when she waited for him by the school gate when he ran late. He would openly flirt with her, and things seemed to go well.
Wataru’s late day saw a soccer ball narrowly miss his head. Some kids were playing and lost control of the ball. That event seemed to trigger something in Wataru. He wasn’t much interested in flirting with Aika anymore. He saw himself as ugly, creepy, and delusional. Aika expressed concern when he painfully arrived at this “realization” in his mind. She’s a beautiful idol, and he’s the usual fan who pushed his luck, according to him and his lack of confidence.
Aika became concerned about Wataru’s change in demeanor, and she began to express herself even more. Aika assumes that Wataru no longer likes her, and Wataru believes he has been troubling her all this time. Misunderstandings upon misunderstandings stand in the way of these two coming together.
