The promotional team behind Yowayowa Sensei released a new trailer for the upcoming anime! Alongside the fan-service-filled trailer, we also got additional information on the show’s VA staff. Hiroshi Ishiodori will direct the student/sensei, ecchi rom-com. The anime’s newly announced voice cast includes:
- Mai Nakahara as Akemi Abikura
- Yu Sasahara as Yuki Yukishita
- Yuko Natsuyoshi as Kaya Kuguri
- Yuri Igoma as Mizuki Mukubayashi
Marika Kono and Kakeru Hatano will voice the anime’s lead duo (Hiyori Hiwamura and Ahihito Abikura). Brain’s Base, known for How to Love Your Elf Bride and D-Frag! will animate the Yowayowa Sensei adaptation. Yoshifumi Fukushima handles the anime’s scripts. The anime will premiere in April.
Yowayowa Sensei Details
Kamio Fukuchi began writing and illustrating Yowayowa Sensei in November 2022. Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha) has serialized the manga since its debut and has compiled the series into fifteen tankobon volumes. The manga’s seventeenth volume will ship on February 17.
Hiyori Hiwamura has long known that being attractive doesn’t translate into being approachable. Although always beautiful, Hiyori’s personality has worked against her looks, and most people find her scary and unapproachable. If that wasn’t unfortunate enough, when she becomes a teacher, her unapproachability becomes a bigger issue — so much so that she’s nicknamed Kowa-Kowa (scary-scary) sensei.
Yet beneath her frightening persona and massive oppai lies a scared and weak girl who’s instantly lovable. When her student, Akihito Abikura, realizes that, Hiyori gets a chance to dispel the views others have of her, and leads to love!
Yowayowa Sensei’s production company has yet to announce which TV stations and streaming services will air/simulcast the anime.
