It’s always a good day when a new maid-themed anime is announced. You Are Ms. Servant (Kimi wa Meido-sama) gives us a maid with assassination skills. Her actual maid skills are lacking, but she’s pretty and dangerous. We’ll see how the newest anime maid does when her series premieres sometime in October 2024. Let’s enjoy the new trailer until then.
Shotan released the original You Are Ms. Servant manga on June 28th, 2020. Shogakukan has since published seven volumes in Sunday Webry.
Our new cute maid and her master are as follows:
- Yuki — Reina Ueda (Sonia in Spy x Family). A mysterious assassin who appeared before Hitoyoshi seeking employment. She’s very dangerous but also naive.
- Hitoyoshi Yokoya — Toshiki Kumagai (Yuuhi Oudou from Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!). An ordinary high school student with a very tenuous relation to Yuki’s master.

You Are Ms. Servant Goes Above and Beyond to Serve
A beautiful and mysterious woman appeared on Hitoyoshi Yokoya’s doorstep at the start of summer. She asked to become his maid. Hitoyoshi was suspicious of the entire thing, but the woman was especially beautiful, so he invited her in. The woman explained that her master — who has a tenuous relationship with Hitohoshi’s family — sent her to become his maid. Hitoyoshi didn’t quite believe her until she showed off incredible athletic abilities, such as a fancy flip and perfectly throwing knives into a tree.
This display scared Hitoyoshi, so he kindly but firmly asked her to leave. However, she accidentally dropped a bell from her headband, prompting him to chase after her to return it. Truck-kun was about to send him on an isekai adventure, but the woman saved him at the last moment. This selfless act earned her a job as his maid. Unfortunately for both of them, she doesn’t know how to clean.
