Not all vampires can readily master their abilities. Monster girls like Luna can’t even correctly feed on willing victims. She’ll bite and bite, and the only thing she can do is irritate her new friend. Still, she stays determined to bite him as many times as it takes to get what she needs from him. We’ll see if her biting skills improve when Vampire-chan Can’t Suck Properly (Chanto Suenai Kyuuketsuki-chan) premieres sometime in 2025.
Kyosuke Nishiki released the original Vampire-chan Can’t Suck Properly manga series on May 8th, 2021. Fujimi Shobo has since published eight volumes in Monthly Dragon Age.
The inexperienced vampire girl and her new friend are as follows:
- Luna Ishikawa — Minami Tanaka (Nitocris, Valkyrie Ortlinde from Fate/Grand Order). A proud and popular vampire who feels slight shame that she isn’t good at feeding on people.
- Tatsuta Otori — Kensho Ono (Giorno Giovanna from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure). Luna’s less-than-popular classmate.

Vampire-chan Can’t Suck Properly, So He Offers Himself for Practice
Luna Ishikawa is a recent transfer student. Her prideful and dominant persona has already attracted people to her. It seems that everyone already knows that she’s a vampire, and many are willing to let her feed from them. One man of culture wants her to step on him, but that’s neither here nor there. The pretty vampire girl charms everyone.
Despite being a vampire, she mostly eats sweets rather than drinking blood. Tatsuta Otori brings up this fact while the two are on cleaning duty. In reality, Luna hasn’t quite figured out how to bite her victims to drain their blood. Tracking blood vessels and applying the right amount of force are tricky endeavors. Tatsuta offers to be her practice human so she can master the trick that allows her species to survive. Unfortunately for him, and fortunately for her, she really enjoys drinking his blood.
