Many amazing horse girls have run the tracks and forged their legends. Few have ever made a stadium erupt in cheers like Oguri Cap. However, even legends have to start out as rookies. Let’s review when Oguri Cap was just an academy student at Kasamatsu Training Center Academy. We’ll see how she fares in those days when Uma Musume Cinderella Gray premieres on April 6th, 2025.
Cygames created Uma Musume Pretty Derby. Masafumi Sugiura and Taiyo Kuzumi released the original Uma Musume Cinderella Gray manga series on June 11th, 2020. Shueisha has published seventeen volumes in Weekly Young Jump.
Three of the leading horse girls are as follows:
- Oguri Cap — Tomoyo Takayanagi (Sarina Tendoji from Oshi no Ko). A fast and voracious horse girl.
- Berno Light — Momoko Seto (Gehenna Prefect Team from Blue Archive). A horse girl with knowledge about horse-girl-specific sporting gear.
- Fujimasa March — Mariya Ise (Himeno from Chainsaw Man). Oguri’s academy rival.
Cygames has maintained a home page, a TikTok page, and a Twitter (X) page to promote Uma Musume Cinderella Gray. You can find additional series information and the Key Visuals there.
Race to the Finish, Uma Musume Cinderella Gray
Oguri Cap is a talented horse girl who enters the Kasamatsu Training Center Academy. Everyone set their sights on speeding down a race track to find fame and fortune. Oguri already stands out with her impressive appetite and oblivious nature. She’s almost too oblivious. A group of horse girls keep trying to bully her, and she has no idea.
What she lacks in social cues, Oguri Cap more than makes up for with sheer speed. Her limber and flexible body far outpaces most of her class and immediately gets a personal trainer’s attention. While he talks about dominating the Tokai Derby with her, all she’s interested in is running and getting faster. Despite her humble goals, her rivals and enemies continue to mount.
Will you watch Uma Musume Cinderella Gray after the series premieres in April? Do you think Oguri can win her debut race? Will those bullies get what’s coming to them? Let us know in the comments below.
