NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dosei Hajimemashita (For Some Reason I Started Living with a NEET Kunoichi) might be the best to come out in a long while. Cultured otaku will be given a good look at what a powerful kunoichi does when she’s not fighting youma. There’s no release date given right now, but there is a trailer we can enjoy in the meantime.
Yakitomato and Kotatsu released their NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dosei Hajimemashita webcomic on January 25th, 2020. No. 9 has released ten digital volumes in No. 9 Comic, and three physical volumes from ASCII Media Works were in the Dengeki Comics EX imprint.
The cute NEET kunoichi and her househusband are as follows:
- Shizuri Ideura — Hinaki Yano (Kitasan Black in Uma Musume Pretty Derby). A powerful kunoichi who dedicates herself to protecting Tsukasa. Beneath her mask as a vicious and efficient warrior is a slovenly NEET who would prefer to play video games all day.
- Tsukasa Atsumi — Shoya Ishige (Yusaku Fujiki in Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS). An ordinary salaryman who descends from a family of samurai. The youma targeted him due to his bloodline, but a mighty and cute kunoichi came into his life to protect him. He only has to do all of the housework.

NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dosei Hajimemashita proves that ninjas continue stalking the streets while slaying youma even in modern-day Japan. Tsukasa Atsumi is just another salaryman who keeps his head down and barely talks to anyone. But unbeknownst to him, he’s descended from a long line of great samurai warriors. It’s for this reason that youma target him. Fortunately for him, an even more powerful kunoichi has decided to protect him.
Shizuri Ideura is one of the most talented kunoichi around. She can slay even the largest youma in mere moments. She has agreed to protect him in exchange for food and shelter. It’s clear that whenever she’s not on the job, she becomes a NEET, an avid gamer who lazes about at home. For his part, Tsukasa is happy with her presence. His kindness and generosity have endeared him to Shizuri. Tsukasa’s life is gradually becoming more exciting, especially as more cute ninja girls appear before him. This includes Ayame Momochi, who is desperately in love with Shizuri.
