The Water Magician Survives in a New World

Truck-kun has taken another life. Yet another troubled young man finds himself in a world of magic and adventure. Truck-kun should have had his license pulled years ago, but I digress. The newest isekai protagonist expected an easy life, but things didn’t work out well. Not at first, anyway. We’ll see how his new life goes when The Water Magician premieres sometime in July 2025.

Tadashi Kudou and Nokito released the original The Water Magician light novel on March 10th, 2021. TO Books has since published twelve volumes in the TO Bunko imprint.

The newest reincarnate and two of his new friends are as follows:

Ryo Mihara — Ayumu Murase (Kotetsu from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba). An unfortunate young man who received the chance to live anew in another world. He now wields the power of water.
Sera — Kaede Hondo (Shigeru Kamado from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba). An elven maiden and close ally to Ryo. She wields the power of the wind.
Abel — Kazuki Ura (Osamu Rojihara from Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens). A top-ranked adventurer and Ryo’s guide in Phi.

The Water Magician Begins a New Journey

Ryo Mihara had just gotten terrible news while he was walking across the street: his parents had passed away. No sooner did that news sink in than a truck hit him and ended his life. Ryo met an angel who offered him the chance to live a new life in a world beyond his own. He could live a new life in Phi and become one of the few who could wield magic. Ryo wasn’t happy with the water element, but he couldn’t reroll for a new element.

The angel prepared a house, two months of food, and a 100-meter barrier to keep Ryo safe as he acclimates to his new world. Ryo will have to master his new abilities the hard way. There’s no leveling RPG system to enjoy, after all. Besides his impressive potential as a mage, Ryo has a hidden trait that is certain to make him a legend.
