The Too-Perfect Saint Exiled to Better Kingdom

A mighty kingdom’s diligent and noble saint does not receive the respect and admiration she should receive. Her prince fiancé and the knights condemn her for doing her job. The prince sells her to a nearby kingdom and replaces her with her sister. We’ll see how she fares in her new accommodations when The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold to Another Kingdom (Kanpeki Sugite Kawaige ga Nai to Konyaku Haki Sareta Seijo wa Ringoku ni Urareru) premieres sometime in April 2025.

Koki Fuyutsuki and Masami released the original The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold to Another Kingdom light novel on April 25th, 2021. Overlap has since published seven volumes in the Overlap Novels f imprint.

Two proud saints and a kind prince are as follows:

Philia Adenauer — Yui Ishikawa (YoRHa No. 2 Type B (2B) in Nier: Automata Ver1.1a). A diligent saint resented by her home kingdom.
Mia Adenauer — Kaede Hondo (Shigeru Kamado from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba). Philia’s charming sister and her successor.
Oswald Parnacorta — Takuya Sato (Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure). The second prince of the Parnacorta kingdom. He welcomes Philia with open arms.

The Too-Perfect Saint Taken for Granted and Karma Had

Philia Adenauer is a noblewoman and the saint of the Ziltonia kingdom. She is an absolute perfectionist in everything she does. Philia goes above and beyond her duty to maintain her wards, prevent monster attacks, and collect herbs to brew medicines. Instead of receiving thanks from the knights and healers, they resent her actions. Julius Ziltonia — the second prince of Ziltonia and Philia’s fiancé — decides to sell her to a neighboring kingdom that lost their saint. Julius believes people should see saints but not hear them.

The Parnacorta kingdom paid a hefty sum to Ziltonia for Philia’s services. Rather than enduring cold stares and verbal lashings from others, Philia receives a warm welcome and genuine friendship. People treat her as a holy woman and thank her for her service. Ziltonia quickly declines without Philia, leaving her beloved sister Mia to keep things together as the new saint. Mia quickly discovers what the prince and her parents did to Philia and plots her revenge against them.
