It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen an update from this upcoming The Seven Deadly Sins sequel, Four Knights of the Apocalypse. This series is set years after the original tale that saw Elizabeth find Meliodas. We’ll see how well this new ragtag band of warriors does when the series premieres on January 31st, 2024. Until then, we can enjoy the trailer, both in Japanese and English. We can also enjoy the Opening and Ending themes ahead of time.
Nakaba Suzuki first released his sequel to The Seven Deadly Sins on January 27th, 2021. Kodansha has since released fourteen volumes in Weekly Shonen Magazine.
Our world-ending knight, a friend, and an enemy are as follows:
- Percival — Sho Komura (First major role). One of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse. Percival may represent Death, but he values life.
- Anghalhad / Anne — Kanna Nakamura (Narita Top Road in Uma Musume: Pretty Derby). A Holy Knight in service to the Kingdom of Liones. She follows Percival as a loyal friend and comrade. Though she isn’t one of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse, she is a part of the Percival Platoon.
- Arthur Pendragon — Sachi Kokuryu (Tron in Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal). A hero-turned-villain with goals that would see the world around him come to chaos and darkness.

Knights of the End
The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse takes place sixteen years after Meliodas and the Seven Deadly Sins ended the Second Holy War. A time of peace followed that fateful battle. An ally from that time, Arthur Pendragon, revealed a far different face after. A prophecy of the end was revealed. A group of four knights would bring an end to the world. One of those fabled knights was identified, prompting a knight named Varghese to take his grandson Percival to the Kingdom of Liones for safety.
King Meliodas and his wife, Queen Elizabeth, welcomed them as friends. However, Percival’s father, Ironside, found them. Varghese was struck down, and Percival was left for dead afterward. Percival arose and started a journey to uncover the truth of that tragedy. He would soon make new friends, including the remaining three Knights of the Apocalypse.
