Jimmy provided art for the light novel adaptation, which debuted on July 2nd, 2020. Kodansha published eight volumes in the Kodansha Ranobe Books imprint. Natsumi Inoue provided art for the manga adaptation, which premiered on June 26th, 2020. Kodansha published twenty volumes in Magazine Pocket. Studio Mother’s anime adaptation premiered on April 7th, 2024.

As Ars Louvent, he quickly and gratefully acclimates to his new world and surroundings. There were still storm clouds over the horizon of Ars’s new life.
The Somerforth Empire may be a global power that rules the entire Somerforth Continent. But it’s a house of cards waiting to collapse. The government is corrupt, and many peasants and farmers are in revolt. Nobles everywhere are consolidating their own forces and engaging in open battle with one another. Seeing this bleak future, Ars decides to use his appraisal skill to find the most talented individuals and hire them to his side. Whether they be skilled mages or swordsmen, or those meant to give orders from a command center, he can see where their strengths lie and place them in positions of strength.
