Cultured otaku can never have enough anime maids to appreciate. You Are Ms. Servant (Kimi wa Meido-sama) presents a maid whose skills lie more in assassinating people than eliminating dirt. She’s still a cute, earnest girl who tries her best for her new master. We’ll see how these two get along when this anime series premieres on October 5th, 2024.
Shotan released the original You Are Ms. Servant manga on June 28th, 2020. Shogakukan has since published eight volumes in Sunday Webry.
The maid, her new master, and his sister are as follows:
- Yuki — Reina Ueda (Sonia in Spy x Family). A mysterious assassin who appears before Hitoyoshi, seeking employment.
- Hitoyoshi Yokoya — Toshiki Kumagai (Yuuhi Oudou from Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!). A high school student with a very tenuous relation to Yuki’s master.
- Riko Yokoya — Hikaru Iida (Character from Oshi no Ko). Hitoyoshi’s supportive younger sister.
Felix Film has maintained a home page and a Twitter (X) page to promote You Are Ms. Servant. You can find additional series information and the Key Visuals there. The maid and her new master are quite close.
You Are Ms. Servant and Ms. Assassin
A mysterious and enchanting woman appeared before Hitoyoshi and asked to be his maid. She revealed that her master suggested she find a new path in life as Hitoyoshi’s maid. Her former profession as an assassin scared him. In fact, Yuki proved her inhuman skills in his backyard by showing off her knife-throwing skills. The entire thing seemed strange, and rather than get caught up in how beautiful the woman was, he sent her on her way.
However, Yuki’s swift action saved Hitoyoshi from an abrupt meeting with Truck-kun. That earned her a place as his new maid. Despite not knowing much about who her master is or how she’s connected to Hitoyoshi’s family he invites Yuki into his home. She’s an earnest and hard-working girl, even if she has no idea how to be a maid. She can’t even clean the house.
