A curse prevents the royal family from ever siring children. This would be an end to the royal bloodline and the beginning of a struggle for succession. The prince has set out to find one of the most powerful witches to break the curse. His curse baffles her, so she agrees to stay with him as his fiancée. We’ll see how their unique relationship progresses after Unnamed Memory returns sometime in January 2025.
Kuji Furumiya and Chibi released the original Unnamed Memory light novel between January 17th, 2019, and April 17th, 2021. ASCII Media Works published all six volumes in the Dengeki no Shin Bungei imprint. Studio ENGI’s anime adaptation premiered on April 9th, 2024.
The witch and two strong knights are as follows:
- Tinasha — Atsumi Tanezaki (Frieren from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End). The legendary “Witch of the Azure Moon.” She agrees to marry Prince Oscar for a year to research his curse.
- Oscar — Yoshiki Nakajima (Yo Uei from Dr. Stone). Crown Prince of the Farsas Kingdom. He inherited the curse cast upon his father and now seeks another witch to break it.
- Meredina — Chinatsu Akasaki (Ran from KonoSuba). A knight of Farsas Kingdom and Oscar’s longtime friend.

The Curtain Rises on Unnamed Memory Act 2
A deadly curse has struck Prince Oscar of Farsas Kingdom. The famed Witch of Silence has deemed that no woman shall safely sire his heir. He has no brothers or sisters to speak of, so this would mark the end of the royal family and plunge the kingdom into chaos. Oscar’s only hope is to seek the aid of another witch, Tinasha, the famed “Witch of the Azure Moon.” So, he would climb her tower and seek an audience with her.
Their burgeoning romance has taken an unexpected turn as of late. Time pulled Oscar, and he had a fateful meeting with a younger version of Tinasha. His desire to make a better life for her has radically altered history. Despite these changes, Tinasha and Oscar still feel drawn to each other, as if they cannot resist fate.
