The harem anime that’s going for the high score is back! The harem protagonist (with divine luck) is gaining more girlfriends who really (really!) love him. He, more or less, has a divine mandate to romance numerous women. This saves his love life and their actual lives. He’s a hero in this ridiculous, fun harem anime. We’ll see who else this lucky guy charms when The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love You (Kimi no koto ga Dai Dai Dai Dai Daisuki na Hyaku-nin no Kanojo) Season 2 premieres on January 12th, 2025.
Rikito Nakamura and Yukiko Nozawa released the original The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love You manga series on December 26th, 2019. Shueisha has published nineteen volumes since then in Weekly Young Jump. Bibury Animation Studios’ anime adaptation premiered on October 8th, 2023.
The harem protagonist and a couple of his harem girls are as follows.
- Rentaro Aijo — Wataru Kato (Flirtatious guy in Kaguya-sama: Love is War). A God of Love has both impeded and helped his desire for love. Rather than having one soulmate, he has 100.
- Hakari Hanazono — Kaede Hondo (Nanjamo/Iono in Pokémon Horizons: The Series). One of the first girls to confess to Rentaro. Hakari is a sweet, albeit lewd, girl from a wealthy family.
- Karane Inda — Miyu Tomita (Funifura in KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!). One of the first girls to confess to Rentaro. She is a tsundere, though she is not violent.

Don’t Ignore The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love You
Rentaro Aijo never had the most exciting love life because 100 girls have rejected him. Despite that, Rentaro remains popular among both boys and girls. He’s relatively popular and friendly. His impressive bad luck streak remains a mystery until the divine intervenes and explains everything. God accidentally added two digits to his soulmate count. This led to his 100 rejections until 100 girls would confess to him.
The god warns him that finding a soulmate takes a lot of luck. Any girl he might reject would suffer calamity. So Rentaro has the burden of glorious purpose as he accepts every confession and convinces these girls to become his harem. His new waifus can come from anywhere. He can even date his girlfriend’s mother without issue. Rentaro truly sets a high bar for harem protagonists everywhere.
