We hope you enjoyed That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Visions of Coleus when that OVA premiered. You’ll have to wait a tad longer for more isekai slime action, though. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 (Tensei Shitara Suraimu Datta Ken) will premiere this April 2024. Plot details might be scarce, but if you’ve read its light novels or manga, the trailer gives plenty of clues.
Fuse began writing his That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime light novel on February 20th, 2013. Mitz Vah came on to illustrate the series on May 30th, 2014. Micro Magazine has since published twenty volumes and two extras in the GC Novels imprint.

- Rimuru Tempest — Miho Okasaki (Teruko from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba). The new slime form of a Japanese man reincarnated in a new world. Evolution gave this slimy being a humanoid form.
- Hinata Sakaguchi — Manami Numakura (Brandish μ from Fairy Tail). A ruthless girl who is also from Japan. She arrived in this new world with the same temperament, which became a boon for the Western Holy Church.
- Shion — M・A・O (Fumika Sagisawa in The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls). Rimuru’s First Secretary. Despite the mundane title, her skills lie more in combat than anything secretarial.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and Fought in a Holy Grudge Match
For those who need a refresher, the series begins with the end. Satoru Mikami dies while protecting a cherished friend and colleague. He’s stabbed to death by a robber then meets his end. Thankfully, he gets a new lease on life in another world, although it’s under less-than-ideal circumstances. Because Satoru reincarnates as a slime! Still, this slime will change the world through various honorable deeds and epic battles under the name Rimuru Tempest.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 will adapt the Saint-Monster Confrontation Arc of the manga and light novel series. Hinata Sakaguchi holds a conference within the Western Holy Church to discuss several remarkable events that have taken place. Among those events are the mighty dragon Veldora’s revival and Rimuru’s recognition as a Demon Lord. They must decide how to react to such changes within the world’s balance of power. During the conference, Rimuru issued an oddly shortly-worded challenge to Hinata, a one-on-one duel to finally settle matters.
