With Kaguya-sama: Love is War wrapping up its third and newest season next week in the form of an hour-long special, fans might be wondering where they can get more of the series without spoiling it for themselves. Luckily, Tokyo once again provides fans with the best tie-ins, as an exhibition on seasons one and two of Kaguya-sama: Love is War is coming in August. We even get some adorable new art of the main cast to mark the occasion.
The exhibition was previously in Osaka in April, in Fukuoka in May, and will be available in Tokyo starting August 11th through the 28th at Tokyo’s Sunshine City Bunka Kaikan Building. While the lottery for priority admission tickets is no longer available, general advance tickets will go on sale on July 2nd.
The exhibit not only promises a look at production materials such as scripts and background art, but the entire exhibit gets in on the action with an audio guide narrated by Kaguya and Chika. Also included are the photo spots found in most exhibitions, but with an exhibit floor like this, any spot is a potential photo spot.
In addition, the exhibition will also feature sections dedicated to the Kaguya-sama concert series as well as the live-action movie, including costumes. Cosplayers, rejoice!
While there’s no word yet if Kaguya-sama: Love is War will get a fourth season, a packed exhibition like this is sure to hold any fan over until then. It’s hard to imagine that a romance anime about two students at an elite school dancing around their feelings would be as popular as it is, but the world is a surprising place sometimes.
Seasons one and two are available to stream on Crunchyroll, and a synopsis for the series is as follows: Two high school geniuses scheme to get the other to confess their love first. Two geniuses. Two brains. Two hearts. One battle. Who will confess their love first…?! As leaders of their prestigious academy’s student council, Kaguya and Miyuki are the elite of the elite! But it’s lonely at the top… Luckily for them, they’ve fallen in love! There’s just one problem — they both have too much pride to admit it. And so begins the daily scheming to get the object of their affection to confess their romantic feelings first… Love is a war you win by losing.
