Another anime where cute girls play golf has been announced. Fans of BIRDIE WING: Golf Girls’ Story might want to stick around. Sorairo Utility (Sky Blue Utility) tells the story of a girl who wants to stand out with a fun hobby. Minami Aoba finds new friends while learning how to play golf. We’ll see how she does sometime in 2025. Let’s enjoy the new trailer until then.
Yostar Pictures and Kengo Saito released the original Sorairo Utility short film on December 31st, 2021.
Our cute golf girls are as follows:
- Minami Aoba — Miyu Takagi (Nijika Karatachi / Rain from Sword Art Online: Lost Song). Minami takes up golf to be more than just a random person in a group.
- Haruka Akane — Yurina Amami (Migu from Ishuzoku Reviewers). Haruka is a part-timer at the golf club and a proficient golfer in her own right.
- Ayaka Hoshimi — Ayasa Goto (Shoto Shiota from Komi Can’t Communicate). Ayaka is a social media influencer.

Sorairo Utility Finds Friendship on the Golf Course
Minami Aoba is an unassuming girl concerned about just becoming a part of the crowd. She wants to find something that sets her apart from others. What Minami desires is an identity of her own. She decides to try her hand at golf and heads to a golf course. It’s there that she sees Haruka Akane, a part-timer at the club and a true golf prodigy. Minami becomes inspired to learn how to play golf. She won’t be alone though: Haruka and the social media influencer Ayaka Hoshimi will be right there with her when she gets a hole-in-one.
