I wonder how they get their business so… sparkling.
A big news update hit the wires on Monday, January 18th regarding the April magical boy anime, Fairy Ranmaru ~ We Will Help Your Heart ~. Not only do we have a brand new key visual and promotional video, but we also have all the primary cast and crew!
As you saw in the video, the primary cast will be (character names first):
Ranmaru Aoi: Shogo Sakata
Homura Hoterase: Kohsuke Tanabe
Uruu Seiren: Balletta Yutaka
Juka Mutsuoka: Taichi Kusano
Takara Utashiro: Akihiro Hori
As for the crew that will bring Fairy Ranmaru to life; Studio Comet will produce the animation with Masakasu Hishida serving as director and will work on the series composition along with Yuzuru Aoba. The series director will be Kousuke Kobayashi. The character designs are being split between Shoko Nagasawa who will provide the human designs while the fairy designs will be drawn by Andgy. Yamazo is handling the background music. The original work is being credited to Taiga Umatani.
We, unfortunately, don’t know a lot about the story besides a vague description of magical boys working at a bar and healing their customers’ hearts. If that promotional video is anything to go by, the way they heal hearts is by transforming into fairies and engaging in magical battles which, I’m not going to lie, looked pretty cool in the video.
Fairy Ranmaru ~ We Will Help Your Heart ~ is set to premiere in Japan in April and — having recently reacquainted myself with a certain group of magical girls — I think that I’m about ready to change things up and get my fill of magical bishonen fight scenes!
