On February 2nd, Rem from Tappei Nagatsuki and Shintarou Otsuka’s Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu (Re: Life in a Different World from Zero) celebrated her birthday, and her popularity has increased a certain Shibuya store by 5,000 visitors since Sunday. A special event titled “Re:Life of Rem’s Birthday from Zero” is currently being held at the Gamers store in Akihabara, on the 8th floor of the Shibuya Marui department store in Tokyo, until the end of the month, in celebration of Rem’s birth.
In celebration of the success, the official Twitter account of Bushiroad Creative, which is in charge of the Shibuya event, are currently hosting a special time-limited giveaway that offers three set of two full graphic T-shirts of Rem, between February 8 and 10. You can get a chance to win the items by following its official Twitter account and retweet the announcement tweet below. The giveaway ends at 18:00 on Friday (JST).

In related news, the Ichiban Cafe teamed up with Japanese restaurant chain Italian Tomato to produce a limited edition cake to celebrate the birthday of Rem. The cake itself was sold for ¥4,000 ($35.63 USD) and is 12cm in diameter. The cake included a special matt, a decorative plate, and two coasters.
