The harem-gathering manga series showcasing the mystical way that a weak and nice guy can gather a bunch of tough delinquents to his side is getting an anime adaptation. Rokudo’s Bad Girls (Rokudo no Onna-tachi) shows the titular Tousuke Rokudou using an ancient demon warding spell to avoid the bullies to seem determined to ruin any chance of a happy and safe school life. The magic does not work out as well as he intended when the demons gathered around him, now determined to make his school life overly happy.
Satelight will begin airing the series in April 2023. Their original trailer is readily available, but Crunchyroll’s reuploaded video has English subtitles for Western viewers.
Akita Shoten has maintained an official Twitter page dedicated to the manga version. It has been happy to hype up the anime adaptation and has linked to the anime promo home page while keeping the manga home page active. It also shared the anime key art, as seen below.
Ancient Magic That Backfires Spectacularly
Rokudo’s Bad Girls follows a plot like Koisuru Yankee Girl, Yandere Kanojo, and Onidere: an incredibly rugged delinquent girl falls in love with a weak, nice guy. She also kind of acts like a tsundere, making it even better.
Tousuke Rokudou is weak and a slight coward, but he hopes to go through high school peacefully. He wants to study, get good grades, and have fun with his friends. Unfortunately, Amori High is up to its knees in delinquents, and Tousuke is a frequent target of bullying. When at his wit’s end, he receives a package from his deceased grandfather. Inside is a priest’s uniform and a scroll.
Tousuke’s family has been dealing with actual demons and other evil spirits since the Heian period in Japan, and the scroll contains a technique to ward them off. He used the spell, and as one would expect, things didn’t work out quite so well. Besides getting a pentagram stuck to his forehead, the real-life demons he dealt with, the bullies and delinquents, all women, are immediately smitten with him when they look into his eyes.
Once Tousuke realizes that, rather than keeping his demons away, they’re drawn to him, he plans to become stronger as a person and live his happy school life as he unintentionally builds a harem of bad girls. The best girl among them seems to be Ranna Himawari.

Rokudo’s Bad Girls Origins
Rokudo’s Bad Girls first began building an all-delinquent harem as a manga series written and illustrated by Yuji Nakamura. Akita Shoten published the series from June 23rd, 2016, to April 8th, 2021, ending the series with 26 volumes for fans of bad girls to purchase and enjoy.
