Oshi no Ko is getting a fourth season, and since it’s now in its Sweet Home Alabama arc, I couldn’t be happier. The anime’s production team announced the new season after the hour-long final episode of season three. A visual and trailer were released along with the announcement.

The premiere date for the fourth and final season of Oshi no Ko has not been announced. However, an official global TikTok account for the anime was launched. That will make some people happy. But true twincest fans need a Maplestar video, not more social media trackers.
Doga Kobo animated Oshi no Ko‘s first three seasons and will likely animate the fourth. The anime’s first season aired from April to June 2023, and the second from July to October 2024. If we average those wait times, we could get the fourth season as soon as next year. And as I wrote that, I jinxed it, and now it will air in 2030. Season three’s voice cast included:

- Megumin Han as Kana Arima
- Ruri Okubo as Mem-cho
- Rie Takahashi as Ai Hoshino
- Manaka Iwami as Akane Kurokawa

The manga received two light novel spin-offs, a live-action TV drama, a live-action theatrical film, and a mobile game. Oshi no Ko‘s idol group, B-Komachi, will commence their B-Komachi Live Tour 2026- Beyond the Brilliance Virtual Live – next month. Nagoya, Osaka, and Tokyo will host the tour.
Oshi No Ko Deets
Author Aka Akasaka and illustrator Mengo Yokoyari debuted the Oshi no Ko manga in April 2020. Weekly Young Magazine (Shueisha) serialized the manga from its release until its November 2024 conclusion. Shueisha released an English digital translation of the manga via Manga Plus. Yen Press releases the print English version of the manga.
Goro Amamiya spent his final days as a respected doctor in a mountain town. Known for his kindness, he often took the time to talk to his hospital’s lonely patients, especially the young Sarina Tendoji. And as the two bond over the star idol Ai Hoshino, little did they know that their bond would follow them into the afterlife. After Dr. Goro’s murder and Sarina’s death, the two reincarnate as Ai Hoshino’s twins. Thinking that life’s going to be a slow and comfy affair, Dr. Doro, now named Aqua, settles into his new life with his twin Ruby. But when a deranged fan murders Ai in front of Aqua, his comfy life dies with his mom. And what follows are revenge-filled years as Aqua does everything he can to avenge Ai.
