Two girls who seem worlds apart are actually really great friends. A flashy gyaru who naturally intimidates people and a quiet honors student spend their free time at a train station food court. It’s the only place they can conveniently meet and hang out. We’ll see what they talk about when See You Tomorrow at the Food Court (Food Court de, Mata Ashita) premieres on July 7th, 2025.
Shinichiro Nariie released the original See You Tomorrow at the Food Court manga series on March 10th, 2020. Kadokawa Shoten has since published two volumes in Comic Newtype.
The two friends and an interesting classmate are as follows:

- Wada — Hiyori Miyazaki. A studious girl who comes off as unapproachable to her classmates. She’s obsessed with mobile games.
- Yamamoto — Yoshino Aoyama (Hitori Goto from Bocchi the Rock!). A stylish gyaru who is smarter than she appears.
- Saito — Saori Hayami (Yor Forger from Spy × Family). Wada’s classmate, who is said to look like a gorilla.
Studio Atelier Pontdarc maintains a home page and a Twitter (X) page to promote See You Tomorrow at the Food Court. You can find more information about the series and the key visuals there.

Don’t Forget, I’ll See You Tomorrow at the Food Court
Wada and Yamamoto have been close friends since middle school. Their general demeanors kept most people at a distance. Wada appears cold and distant, and Yamamoto is a gyaru. These two have been a duet ever since Wada had a falling out with another girl in middle school. They realize that, since they’re going to different high schools, their time together is coming to an end. Yamamoto and Wada quickly agree on a convenient meeting spot.

The two girls decide to meet at the train station’s food court and talk about their lives. No topic is off-limits, from Wada’s brief run-in with an online mob to Yamamoto’s thoughts about space and the possibilities of alien life. Anything and everything is discussed face-to-face, no matter how silly or philosophical. This includes Wada’s love-hate relationship with a gacha character and Yamamoto’s lack of a social media presence.
