A delinquent martial artist spends his days getting into pointless fights. His fortunes change when Truck-kun barrels toward him. Instead of Truck-kun doing what it’s famous for, the delinquent simply falls off a cliff. He lands in another world where magic and technology have advanced together. His dream girl is there to explain everything to him. We’ll see him find his place in this world when Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse premieres on July 2nd, 2025.
Fujiko Sakuno, Hideya Takahashi, and Akuto Sato created this original Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse anime series.
The isekai protagonist, his dream girl, and a legendary onmyo master are as follows:
- Takeru Narehira — Taihi Kimura (Adam Krensh from The Beginning After the End). A lone martial arts delinquent. He trains in onmyo to save his dream girl.
- Tsukimiya — Maaya Uchida (Kaguya Yamai in Date A Live). A popular dancing idol from Denji Heian-kyo. She appeared to Takeru in his dreams.
- Abe no Seimei — Ryohei Kimura (Romero Fujimi and David Shield from My Hero Academia). A legendary onmyoji and guardian of Denji Heian-kyo.

Lost in Another World and Time Loop in Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse
Takeru Narehira is a loner martial artist who engages in pointless fights. He avoids building bonds with people while pursuing a girl he meets only in dreams. Despite his harsh demeanor, Takeru has a strong sense of justice. He proves this by rushing to save a small creature from an oncoming truck. His heroism sends him flying off a cliff and into a parallel world.
Denji Heian-kyo is another world that resembles the ancient capital. It’s a place where magic and technology have advanced side by side. Takeru finally meets the girl of his dreams, Tsukimiya. Their fated meeting ends abruptly after the lethal dark mist, Yamikaoru, encroaches upon them and summons disastrous Oni. Takeru and Tsukimiya met their end during the attack. Suddenly, Takeru found himself exactly where and when he first arrived in Denji Heian-kyo. He leaped through time and had the chance to change everyone’s fate. His first step was to locate the legendary onmyoji Abe no Seimi to become an onmyo master.
