The upcoming anime season was set to include plenty of highly anticipated sequel series and anime films. Unfortunately, as the spread of the coronavirus puts major parts of Japan and Tokyo into lockdown, more and more of these exciting anime premieres are being postponed and delayed. Highly anticipated films like Violet Evergarden: The Movie and Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel III spring song have all been delayed, and the incredibly exciting and hotly anticipated second season of Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- has also been postponed. Now, fans of gritty manga adaptation No Guns Life are the latest anime enthusiasts to be in for a dose of disappointment, as the upcoming second half of the action anime has been delayed too.
In a statement shared on the official website for the anime adaptation of Tasuku Karasuma’s manga series No Guns Life, it was stated that the second half of the show, originally scheduled to debut on April 9th, will be delayed due to the rapid spread of COVID-19, also known as coronavirus. There is currently no updated premiere date for the series, but the official website and Twitter account will share the new premiere date once it is decided.
Unfortunately, this delay also extends to the Blu-ray Disc releases of the No Guns Life anime. Volumes five through eight of the DVD releases, as well as the third and fourth Blu-ray Disc releases, will have their launch postponed indefinitely. A new shipping date for these collections will be decided on after a new premiere date for the anime is set.

Finally, Kenji Kawai will continue to compose music for the series, having previously worked on Patlabor, Ghost in the Shell, and Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
Here’s a description of the series, according to MyAnimeList:
The technology to create powerful cyborg soldiers has been released for public use by the Berühren Corporation. Those outfitted with robotic parts are known as the Extended. Juuzou Inui, one such Extended, was created as a soldier and has no memories of his former life. But now, after the war, he runs a business that takes care of Extended-related incidents around the city.
Rumors of a renegade Extended that kidnapped a child reach his ears; lo and behold, as Juuzo returns to his office, a giant robotic man with a boy on his back crashes in, asking for help. While Juuzou could just turn the guy in and be done with it, something about this situation is too fishy to ignore. It seems that everyone wants hold of this kid and, whether he likes it or not, Juuzou must find out why this Extended is on the run, how it connects to the Berühren Corporation, and just how far the treachery runs in this city.
