The official website for the latest and 14th One Piece movie installment, One Piece: Stampede, revealed a new visual for the upcoming anime film on Monday. The movie will open in theaters in Japan on August 9, in celebration of the anime’s 20th anniversary.
The video teases the 38 returning characters from the story that will appear in the movie including former Roger Pirates member Douglas Bullet.

One Piece: Stampede is an upcoming Japanese animated fantasy action adventure film directed by Takashi Otsuka and produced by Toei Animation. It is the fourteenth feature film of the One Piece film series, based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It will commemorate the anime’s 20th anniversary. The news was first announced following the broadcast of Episode of Sky Island. The film’s title was announced alongside a teaser trailer on December 11, 2018. It is scheduled for release on August 9, 2019.

The movie takes place during the Pirates Expo, “made by pirates, for pirates”, where pirates all over the world, including some of its most infamous ones, join in for a big treasure hunt to find a lost treasure, this time the treasure belonged to none other than Gold Roger!
