Studio Deen has brought forth a new isekai anime series! After Isekai Office Worker: The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter and I’m a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic, Multi-Mind Mayhem: Isekai Tensei Soudouki, with its new take on the tried-and-true genre with its repeat reincarnator, is right up their alley. Yeah, the premise really reminds me of the Avatar from Avatar (the elemental martial artist, not the blue alien group) or Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh!.

Bard will begin his third life sometime in January 2027. Hiroaki Sakurai sits as the director, Keiichiro Ochi wields the pen, Zenjiro Ukulele and Hajime Watanabe design the characters, and Ryoshi Takagi provides the epic anime music.
The thrice-reincarnated hero and two of his cute allies are as follows:
- Bard Cornelius — Yusuke Kobayashi (Dino from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime). Bard is a nobleman who was once Sanai Oka, a Sengoku period samurai, and Masaharu Oka, a modern-day Japanese student.
- Seillune — Yukari Anzai (Kotoka Saionji from The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls). Seillune is Bard’s maid and a big sister-figure to him.
- Selina Savaran — Ayasa Ito (Vivlos from Uma Musume Pretty Derby). Selina is a canine beast tribeswoman and the head of a trading company.
Studio Deen will animate the anime adaptation, which has an official website and Twitter (X) accounts promoting Multi-Mind Mayhem. You can find more information about the series and the key visuals at those sites.
Third Time’s the Charm! Multi-Mind Mayhem: Isekai Tensei Soudouki
It’s difficult to find something new in the time-honored “reincarnation isekai” genre. Stories where the protagonist is on their second reincarnation are pretty rare, and instances of a third reincarnation are unheard of (as far as I’ve read; correct me in the comments). Bard Cornelius (what a name) is on his third life, and his first two are influencing his actions, offering him combat skills, business acumen, and general knowledge.
I’m curious to know why the original soul hopped worlds. Sanai and Masaharu share the same family name, and I wonder whether the soul remained within the same family across generations. I hope the story explains these things.

Multi-Mind Mayhem manga summary:
Bard Cornelius: the son of a nobleman of Mauricia, an empire located in a parallel universe. But Bard is no ordinary boy―he’s got three souls packed into one body! Aside from his own consciousness, he’s got Oka Sanai, a miserly samurai, and Masaharu Oka, a high school otaku who loves animal ears. With his extra knowledge of military tactics and business acumen, Bard’s ready to cheat his way to the top!
Ryousen Takami released the original Multi-Mind Mayhem: Isekai Tensei Soudouki on the user-generated website Shosetsuka ni Naro and AlphaPolis sometime in 2013. Kodama and Ririnra provided the art for the light novel adaptation, which debuted on March 4th, 2014. AlphaPolis has published all fourteen volumes. Honoji provided the art for the manga adaptation, which debuted on May 4th, 2015. AlphaPolis has published fourteen volumes.
