The newest Monogatari anime adaptation is soon upon us. The Off Season and Monster Season novels will get their due anime releases sometime in 2024. Fans have been waiting for more tall and cute vampire girls for a while, and that wait is almost over. Until then, let’s enjoy the new trailer.
Nisio Isin and Vofan began working on the Monogatari novel series on August 10th, 2005. Kodansha Box has since released 29 volumes.
Some of the souls who had a brush with the darkness of their world are as follows:
- Koyomi Araragi — Hiroshi Kamiya (Shinji Mato from Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works). Koyomi survived a vampire attack and saw how dangerous the world was in reality. His fate was soon bonded with the powerful vampire lady Shinobu Oshino.
- Shinobu Oshino — Maaya Sakamoto (Tamayo from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba). An ancient and powerful vampire. Though her tale began with tragedy, meeting Koyomi has changed things for the better.
- Yotsugi Ononoki — Saori Hayami (Oyuki from Urusei Yatsura (2022)). Yozuru Kagenui’s shikigami familiar. She entered Koyomi’s life as an enemy and eventually became a strong ally.

The Monogatari Continues
The long-running Monogatari series typically follows Koyomi Araragi. A vampire attack led him to offer his blood to a lovely female vampire. His fate became tied to Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade. Though she was weakened, he became a vampire after offering his blood to save her life. Koyomi started the task of protecting the vampire Acerola as he reclaimed her limbs from the vampire hunters who stole them.
Koyomi’s adventures saw him aiding many kinds of people, including some cute girls. Monogatari Off Season includes Orokamonogatari, Wazamonogatari, Nademonogatari, and Musubimonogatari. These chapters follow the cute girls after Koyomi saved their lives. Their tales become just as important as his.
Monogatari Monster Season includes the Shinobumonogatari, Yoimonogatari, Amarimonogatari, Ougimonogatari, and two-part Shinomonogatari chapters. Koyomi — now a university student — leaps into action after missing girls are found in mummified conditions.
