Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Engages in Clan Battles

A new chapter in the Gundam series begins! A new conflict, where one false move can end numerous lives, pulls innocent people into it. Discovering a powerful mobile suit throws an ordinary student’s life into chaos. We’ll see her take flight when the Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- movie premieres on January 17th, 2025. This film will constitute the first three episodes of the forthcoming series.

Kazuya Tsurumaki, Yoji Enokido, and Hideaki Anno created Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX for studio Sunrise. Hajime Yatate and Yoshiyuki Tomino created the original Mobile Suit Gundam in 1979.

Our new Gundam pilot and two of her new friends are as follows:

Yuzuriha Amate / Machu — Tomoyo Kurosawa (Rebecca from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners). An average high school student who becomes involved in the Clan Battles and pilots the GQuuuuuuX.
Nyaan — Yui Ishikawa (YoRHa No. 2 Type B (2B) in Nier: Automata Ver1.1a). A courier who became a refugee after war erupted in her homeland.
Shuji Ito — Shimba Tsuchiya (Kazuyuki Konno from In/Spectre). A mysterious Gundam pilot on the run from his enemies.

Sunrise and Studio Khara maintain a home page and a Twitter (X) page to promote Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX. You can find more information about the series and the key visuals there. A new tragedy is about to unfold.

Find Victory in Clan Battles, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX

Yuzuriha Amate is a high school student living in the space colony Side 6. Her day-to-day life became interrupted when she encountered Nyaan, a courier and war refugee. Nyaan’s homeland became a battlefield before her very eyes. She could only escape her colony with a small mobile suit with only her regrets. A passing ship saved her and brought her to Side 6.

Yuzuriha later meets Shuji Ito, a mysterious boy fleeing from authorities for spreading graffiti on the colony’s outer walls. These fateful meetings lead her into a mobile suit’s cockpit. Yuzuriha — using the alias Machu — becomes the pilot of the gMS-Ω GQuuuuuuX in the Clan Battle. Fortunately, Nyaan can obtain illegal items, and Shuji is a great mobile suit navigator.
