Hololive has announced a new multimedia project starring six of their lovely digital idols. Magical Girl holoWitches! takes place in a world where special streamers fight dark creatures that prey upon innocent people. Fans can watch these battles unfold in anime, manga, livestreams, and other formats. The new trailer has given us a glimpse of this epic series.
Motoaki “Yagoo” Tanigo founded Cover Corp on June 13th, 2016. Their first VTuber — Tokino Sora — debuted on September 7th, 2017.
The magical girls ready to save the day are as follows:
- Amane Kanata — Kanata is a dependable girl with a straightforward personality. She has a strong sense of justice.
- Sakura Miko — Miko is a caring and energetic girl. She is easily admired by others.
- Himemori Luna — Luna takes things at her own pace. She can be a bit erratic, but she can pull things off if she tries.
- Houshou Marine — Marine is the oldest girl in her friend group. She’s a natural leader despite her mischievous and spoiled personality.
- Murasaki Shion — Shion is a brilliant girl with a vested interest in black magic and urban legends.
- Sakamata Chloe — Chloe is often mistaken for a gyaru. Shion inspired her to become a streamer.

Magical Girl holoWitches! Fight Against Corruption
Livestreams hosted by cute girls are all the rage. Millions of people watch them sing, play video games, and even just talk. The light of the viewers’ hearts is gathered by the Holocas streaming app, which helps to sustain the magical Holocas World. The six most popular Holocas streamers are Kanata, Miko, Luna, Marine, Shion, and Chloe.
Not all of their viewers can keep a positive and upbeat attitude. The Yumeochi phenomenon occurs when someone encounters a stressful situation and loses hope. Their souls are drawn into the Holocas World and take the form of a monster. Aelu and Lagu — a light fairy and a dark fairy respectively — approach the six idols and ask them to save those who have lost hope. They become magical girls and venture to Holocas World to save their fans one battle at a time.
