The complicated heroes who scale the notorious Tower return! Tower of God: Return of the Prince is the second season of this South Korean manhwa adaptation. Bam’s journey to the top of the Tower continues as he leads the mysterious FUG organization. We’ll see how he and his new companion fare in the Tower when this new season premieres on July 7th, 2024. The Japanese girl group NiziU performed the opening theme song, “RISE UP,” and the ending theme song, “BELIEVE.”
S.I.U. (Lee Jong Hui) published the original Tower of God manhwa to Naver Webtoon on June 30th, 2010. Telecom Animation Film’s anime adaptation premiered on April 1st, 2020.
Three of those who seek the hidden prize of the Tower are as follows:
- Twenty-Fifth Bam / Jyu Viole Grace — Taichi Ichikawa (Reito Mizuhara from World’s End Harem). His parents abandoned him on the so-called Floor of Death as a child. He followed the woman who gave him a name into the Tower.
- Ja Wangnan — Yuma Uchida (Shinomori Aoshi in Rurouni Kenshin). He struggled in vain to clear Floor 20 of the Tower until he teamed with Bam. Wangnan’s goal is to become the king of the Tower.
- Yeon Yihwa — Sayumi Watabe (Birmingham from Azur Lane). She comes from the prestigious Yeon family. Like Wangnan, she teamed up with Bam to clear Floor 20’s tests.
The Answer Studio has maintained a home page, a TikTok page, and a Twitter (X) page to promote Tower of God: Return of the Prince. You can find more series information and the key visuals there. Notice why Yihwa thought Bam was a woman when they first met.
Tower of God: Return of the Prince Travels Higher
The Tower is a source of wonder and tragedy in the world. Each floor is the size of a country. Many proud individuals and parties scale the floors to ascend to greater heights. They typically seek fame, glory, and wealth beyond imagination. Tens of thousands of years ago, Jahad led the Great Warriors to climb the Tower and stake their claim to its mysteries. Their ascent stopped when Jahad reached Floor 134, and he founded his Jahad Empire. His comrades founded their own great families while enjoying their newfound immortality. No one knows what lies beyond Floor 134 because not even Jahad could defeat the Guardian on Floor 135.
In more recent times, Bam, under the alias of Jyu Viole Grace, continues to chase Rachel to support her endeavors. He has reached Floor 20 and is ready to undergo the test to ascend beyond that floor. Viole leads the covert organization FUG with its own clandestine goals. He teams up with the brash Ja Wangnan and the noblewoman Yeon Yihwa to clear the tests to gain the right to advance and become E-rank Regulars.
