The concept of maids captured her attention. A tragic plane crash sends her to a world based on a popular otome game as its new heroine. Rather than live out a power fantasy, she puts her cheat-like abilities to use as a perfect maid. We’ll see what happens to the game story when Heroine? Saint? No, I’m an All-Works Maid (and Proud of It)! (Heroine? Seijo? Iie, All Works Maid desu (Hokori)!) premieres sometime in July 2026.

Atekichi released the original Heroine? Saint? No, I’m an All-Works Maid (and Proud of It)! novel series on the user-generated website Shosetsuka ni Naro on February 1st, 2017. Yukiko provided art for the light novel adaptation, which debuted on March 10th, 2020. TO Books published six volumes in the TO Bunko imprint. Keiko provided art for the manga adaptation, which premiered on May 10th, 2021. TO Books published five volumes in Comic Corona.
Heroine? Saint? No, I’m an All-Works Maid (and Proud of It)! Cast
Two isekai protagonists and a lovely noble girl are as follows:
- Ritsuko Mizunami / Celeste McMurdon / Melody Wade — Yume Miyamoto (Nika Nanaura from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury). Melody is a reincarnated girl who uses her brilliant mind and divine magic to be a great maid. Her destiny was to be the heroine.
- Anne Marie Victirium — Youko Hikasa (Freya from Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Girls in a Dungeon?). Anne is a reincarnated girl from Japan who befriends Melody as her fellow reincarnator. The story designated her to be the villainess.
- Luciana Rutleberg — Rumi Okubo (Mem-cho from Oshi no Ko). Luciana is an unfortunate noble girl whom her parents had abandoned. Their abandonment should have turned her into the demon king’s perfect vessel.

I’ll Choose My Destiny! Heroine? Saint? No, I’m an All-Works Maid (and Proud of It)!
Ritsuko Mizunami was always a brilliant girl who excelled in everything she tried. Well, her academic skills were without equal. Outside of that, she was a lost soul. Ritsuko had no real goal in life until she met a kind maid at her parents’ friend’s manor. Seeing a woman work tirelessly to support her employers in their endeavors made her want to become a maid herself. To that end, she took a plane to England to finish her maid training. Her plane would never make it there.
Ritsuko was reborn as Celeste McMurdon, the daughter of a maid and a count. Her appreciation for maids awakened memories of her past life and re-solidified her desire to become a great maid. She also gained incredible magical abilities that befit the heroine of the popular otome game Five Oaths of the Saint. It’s unfortunate, but she never played that game. Rather than try to save the world, Celeste takes the name Melody Wade, becomes Luciana Rutleberg’s sole maid, and takes care of her. Melody’s actions change the game story while still fulfilling the heroine’s role.
