After an arduous wait, producers have revealed the trailer and April 4 premiere date for Fire Force Season 3. The announcement and release came via IGN Fan Fest 2025. The upcoming season of Fire Force will split into two cours, with its second part slated for a Winter (January) 2026 release. Also revealed in the trailer was the anime’s theme song, “Tsuyobi” by Queen Bee. Crunchyroll previously announced it would stream the upcoming season in Africa, the Americas, the Commonwealth of Independent States, Europe, the Middle East, and Oceania.
Fire Force Season 3 and Previous Seasons’ Info
The first 24-episode Fire Force season premiered during the Summer 2019 anime season and ran between July 6 and December 28, 2019. David Productions animated Season 1 with Yuki Yase acting as its director. Additional production staff included:

Enen no Shouboutai’s second 24-episode season aired during the Summer 2020 anime season. The second season ran from July 4 to December 12, 2020. Tatsuma Minamikawa replaced Yuki Yase as director. Additional production staff included:

- Yano Kenichirou — Screenplay
- Hideyuki Morioka — Character Designs
- Yumenosuke Tokuda — Chief Animation Director

Studio David will also animate the final season of the anime. However, Fire Force Season 3 sees some changes to its production staff as Sei Tsuguta will handle the show’s script. Other changes include:

- Yoshiro Yoshioka/Mariko Kubo — Chief Animation Directors (in addition to Yumenosuke Tokuda)

What’s Fire Force About?
Spontaneous Human Combustion (SHC) might be a myth in our world, but it’s usual in Shinra Kusakabe‘s world. SHC mutates those burned by the mysterious flames into aggressive monsters known as “Infernals.” But, as time passed, that mysterious phenomenon also produced prokinetics — people who can control fire and retain their humanity. Shinra is one of those prokinetics, and when he loses his family in a blaze, he joins the Special Fire Force under Company 8.
But his time in Company 8 is far from what he expected. Plunging deep into a world of political dick-measuring, conspiracies, shadowy groups, and twin-tailed ero-nuns who detest clothing, Shinra learns things seldom are what they appear to be. Yet despite it all, Shinra valiantly fights to protect all around him.
Crunchyroll streams all seasons of Fire Force. Subbed and various dubbed versions are available on the site. The anime was an adaptation of Atsushi Ohkubo’s manga. Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine serialized Enen no Shouboutai between September 2015 and February 2022. Kodansha US published the English version of the manga, compiled into 34 tankoubon volumes. Fire Force boasts over 22 million copies in circulation.
