For the last day, I’ve been trying to figure out how best to present this piece of news out of Japan. Finally, after much thought and soul-searching, I decided that simple was best and I’m just going to present this to you straight and unfiltered so you can decide for yourself how you feel about this.
A brand new doujin audio album has been produced and is on sale for 1,320 yen (US$12.30) from DLSite (NSFW). The contents of the album are possibly the most unique ever produced as they feature an hour’s worth of voice actress Kotori Hino farting in a variety of different situations and places.
Besides an interview with Hino, the different audio tracks listed on the album are:
- A Toot to Get Things Started
- A Clenched Fart
- Farting Inside a Sack
- Farting in the Bathtub
- Resisting the Urge to Fart While Masturbating
Produced by doujin circle Inoshikachokan, the creators revealed that they fed their actress plenty of sweet potatoes and that all the flatulence on the album is 100% genuine (though there was no mention on if the bathtub or masturbation farts were done in simulated situations or not). The description promises that “You’ll be amazed that a woman with a voice this cute can fart like this!”
You might wonder if anyone out there would actually be interested in voice actress farts (which is a pretty reasonable question). The answer is; apparently yes as the album is currently boasting a 4.47 rating (out of 5) from 64 reviews, the majority of which gave the album five stars.
I should note that I did not actually listen to this album before writing this news article so I cannot personally comment on its quality. If, however, you’re in the market for the sounds of an anime voice actress farting into a microphone but don’t want to deal with the olfactory aftermath, this is the album for you!
