TMS Entertainment maintains a home page dedicated to the Detective Conan movie, as well as a Twitter page, an Instagram page, and even a TikTok page, all to keep eager fans informed and connected with the series. Extras, such as behind the scenes information and the key arts, below can be found at those sources.

They also took to Twitter to discuss the popular rock band Spitz, who performed the theme song for the movie. Titled Beautiful Fin (Utsukushii Hire), the band explained their views on the Detective Conan series as a whole.

“We are surprised ourselves, ‘Spitz would sing a song for Detective Conan?’ “I think Conan is an epic love story before it is a mystery, so we created this song with the image that it can be a ‘sad love story’ or a ‘thrilling action story’. Also, some people ask me, ‘The Shogakusei (elementary school student) in the lyrics is Conan-kun?’ That is ‘Showakusei (asteroid),’ so please do not make the mistake.”

Don’t Die, Haibara

Detective Conan: Iron Submarine follows Conan and his friends as they travel to Hachijo-jima island, Tokyo at Sonoko’s invitation. Engineers from the world over have lent their aid in creating the “Pacific Buoy,” an Interpol marine facility housing system that links security cameras that employ facial recognition.

The mysterious Black Organization, the ones responsible for shrinking Shinichi Kudo into a child, have made their presence known by murdering a Europol employee in Germany. The culprit, Gin, is one of their more dangerous members.

With an Interpol system coming online, the Black Organization on the move, and Ai Haibara in the crosshairs of another conspiracy, Conan’s hands are full with this case.

Detective Conan Origins

Detective Conan, known as Case Closed in the West, because reasons, first hit the beat as a manga series written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. Shogakukan began publishing the series on January 19th, 1994, and there are currently 102 volumes available for purchase. It’s become a worldwide phenomenon, and to discuss all of the adaptations would be an article itself. Suffice it to say, it’s been adapted to anime, audio CDs, video games, and even live-action forms.

Conan Edogawa isn’t the only pint-sized genius around. Anya Forger could certainly make for a great detective. For those collecting figures, the Anya Forger POP UP PARADE Figure, part of J-List’s Spy X Family shop section, could be used to play out those fantasy scenarios.
