A guy possesses the skill befitting his “hero” title but lacks the necessary social abilities to form a party. This won’t stop him from trying to defeat the Demon King and save everyone. His fortunes seem to change when three beautiful girls join his party. Unfortunately for him, they don’t share his goals. We’ll see how his adventure plays out when The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses (Kizetsu Yusha to Ansatsu Hime) premieres sometime in 2025.
Norishiro-chan and Yukiji Setsuda released the original The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses manga series on October 27th, 2022. Akita Shoten has since published ten volumes in Weekly Shōnen Champion.
The hero and his new, charming party members are as follows:
- Toto — Shunsuke Takeuchi (Urogi from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba). A shy hero with incredible might.
- Gore — Haruka Shiraishi (Horn from Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?). A dancer who wants to turn the hero into her pet.
- Anemone — Hitomi Ueda (Michiko Tendou in Chainsaw Man). An assassin posing as a priest to kill the hero.
- Ciel — Iori Saeki (Tsubaki from The Quintessential Quintuplets). The Demon King’s daughter wants to kill the hero.

Three women have orders to eliminate a formidable yet shy hero. The Demon King commands his daughter, Ciel Zebul, to kill the hero during a ceremony. The assassin Anemone receives a substantial offer of money to eliminate this man. The third girl, Gore, is a dominatrix who merely wants a new “pet” for her enjoyment.
The hero, Toto, may possess the skills befitting his title, but he’s terrible at interacting with people. Women, specifically, can make him faint with a small amount of attention. Though it seems circumstances seal his fate in the first encounter, Toto saves the three young women from the level 70 uncontrolled dark spider dragon Ciel summoned just for the occasion. This heroic feat earns him a temporary respite.
