The next few days will be huge for Crunchyroll users who want dubs, as the streaming giant has revealed that they are streaming six new dubs. Four of them were previously delayed, while the other two are brand new!
Taking the announcements in order of premiere date, the first series that will hit Crunchyroll is episodes nine through twelve of Somali and the Forest Spirit, coming out today, Thursday, May 7th. This will be followed the next day by episodes nine through twelve of Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It.
Starting next week on Thursday, May 14th, the brand new dubs will start rolling in starting with The 8th son? Are you kidding me? with new episodes appearing every Thursday. This will be followed by the launch of the dub for My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! on Saturday, May 16th, with new episodes appearing every Saturday.
Also premiering on Saturday, May 16th, is the return of the dubbed episodes of Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun re-starting with episode sixteen. New episodes will air weekly thereafter. Finally, we come to In/Spectre which will re-start with episode eight starting on Saturday, May 23rd, with new episodes airing weekly thereafter.
This is exciting news for fans of all stripes. Not only are dub fans getting access to a whole new slew of series, but it’s also great news for everyone else as it means that the industry is adjusting and adapting to the new “normal” in the current world situation.
