The Nijigasaki High School Idol Club girls are back and bigger than ever! Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Final Chapter is a movie trilogy based around the titular idol club. We’ll see Yu, Ayumu, and the other girls take the stage on September 6th, 2024.
Hajime Yatate and Sakurako Kimino created the original Love Live! multimedia series sometime in 2010. The Nijigasaki High School Idol Club first took the stage on September 26th, 2019, in the Love Live! School Idol Festival All Stars mobile game. Sunrise’s Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club anime adaptation premiered on October 3rd, 2020.
Three of our lovely Nijigasaki idols are as follows:
- Yu Takasaki — Hinaki Yano (Kitasan Black in Uma Musume Pretty Derby). Watching Setsuna Yuki inspired Yu to become an idol. She manages the idol club.
- Ayumu Uehara — Aguri Onishi (Librarian from The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You). Yu and Ayumu are childhood friends. She is a member of A・ZU・NA.
- Shizuku Osaka — Kaori Maeda (Nice Nature from Uma Musume: Pretty Derby). She is a theater club member who joined the idol club on her senior’s recommendation.
- Kasumi Nakasu — Mayu Sagara (Z16 Friedrich Eckoldt from Azur Lane). She is the first girl Yu met on her mission to save the idol club.

Take it From the Top in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Final Chapter
Nijigasaki High School is a famous academy in Odaiba, Tokyo. The school provides a free-flowing curriculum with plenty of clubs for students to join and enrich themselves. Best friends, Yu and Ayumu, were on the general course in school until they saw an idol performance. The mysterious idol Setsuna Yuki and the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club lit the stage up and inspired the two to become idols.
Though the idol club was not lacking in potential, it did lack in members. The student council president, Nana Nakagawa, ordered Yu to find eight more members to save the idol club from closure. Once they recruited more members, Nana revealed herself as Setsuna and rejoined her club. Though they might sometimes be rivals, the Nijigasaki idols remain friends forever.
