Why yes, we do still have a whole fall season to get through before we can even think about watching this title. Your point being?
In an official website update for the upcoming series Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki (Japanese title: Jaku-chara Tomozaki-kun), we learned when we can expect to see the premiere, cast and crew details, and a brand new key visual just for good measure.
The crew for this romantic comedy reads pretty strongly; Shinsuke Yanagi is sitting in the director’s chair at studio project No. 9, working off scripts that are being overseen by Fumihiko Shimo. The character designs for the anime are being produced by Akane Yano. It’s worth noting that this trio all worked together on The Ryuo’s Work is Never Done!. Hiromi Mizutani will compose the background music.
In terms of the voice cast, the same actors who portrayed the characters on the previously released drama CD will reprise their roles (character names first):

Originally a light novel series written by Yūki Yaku and illustrated by Fly, the Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki series has been published by Shogakukan since 2016 with nine volumes released in Japan as of April 2020 (technically it’s eight and a half but let’s not split hairs). Yen Press is releasing the series in English and describes the story of the first volume as:
Tomozaki is one of the best gamers in Japan, and in his opinion, the game of real life is one of the worst. No clear-cut rules for success, horribly balanced, and nothing makes sense. But then he meets a gamer who’s just as good as him, and she offers to teach him a few exploits…
